Normalerweise lebt Luke Glanton von seinen Motorradstunts auf dem Jahrmarkt und hält eher Abstand von zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen. Eines Tages trifft er seinen alten One-Night-Stand Romina wieder und erkennt, dass sie, ohne es ihm zu sagen, seinen Sohn zur Welt gebracht hat. Luke will für ihn sorgen, allerdings nicht auf ehrliche Art und Weise: Gemeinsam mit dem zwielichtigen Mechaniker Robin beschließt er, mehrere Banken auszurauben, um Romina das Geld zu geben.
